The Portola Art Gallery artist, Barbara von Haunalter of Los Altos Hills, has created a series of watercolor and acrylic paintings glorifying the edible fruits and vegetables that grow in her yard.  Painted en plein aire, the watercolors suggest the abstract beauty of our organic produce; her acrylics of local gardens portray the marvelous rich colors found in plants and shrubs. Join the artist in an opening reception, October 4, from 1-4pm. The exhibit runs through the month of October.
